About Captain Scott… Captain Scott has been hunting and fishing on the Texas coast his entire life. He grew up fishing the waters of the Galveston Bay Complex. An adventurous spirit for exploring new waters led him southward down the Texas Coastline to the areas of Matagorda, Port O’Conner, Port Aransas, Baffin Bay and the Lower Laguna Madre. The marshes, bayous, and flats of the Upper Texas Coast are where Captain Scott spends most of his time. Stalking shallow foraging redfish in these areas is his primary focus. Trophy sow trout and flounder are often bonuses found in these same environs. Captain Scott’s love of the outdoors and his willingness to share his knowledge has led him to guiding others to these special places. Captain Scott recently named his Mitzi the “Ichigo-Ichie” in reference to an ancient Japanese Zen tea ceremony. The phrase means “an unprecedented, once in a lifetime encounter that never repeats itself”. This is what a great fishing adventure is all about.
